Psi Chi Full Body Meeting Minutes
September 29, 2004
ANNOUNCEMENTS
o T-Shirts: We will soon be selling Psi Chi t-shirts for $10! Watch for
advertisements soon!
o Candle Sale: We are selling Abby Candles this semester! Order
forms will be given out on October 12 and due back on October 27.
Candles should be in on November 9, when the money is also due.
Candles come in two sizes, selling for $10 and $14. Anyone who sells
$75 worth of candles receives a free Psi Chi t-shirt!
o Applications are due October 13th. The additional information sent
to all accepted applicants, along with the membership fee, is due
October 27th.
o Love Your Body Day is October 20th! Psi Chi is joining together with
NOW to hand out information at the scramble light during that day! If
you are willing to volunteer some of your time, please email Psi Chi
(psichi@bsu.edu)!
GRADUATE STUDENT PANEL
o Several graduate students from psychology-related programs came
to offer their experiences and information concerning graduate
school! Topics covered included the GRE's, looking for a graduate
schools, personal statements, and distinguishing between different
graduate programs. Programs represented at the panel included
Educational Psychology, Counseling Psychology, Clinical Psychology,
and Cognitive/Social Psychology. Thank you to those who participated!
