The Linkages Program provides students
a way to earn an associate’s and bachelor’s
degree through their local community
college and Western Illinois UniversityQuad Cities.
To participate you must:
• Be a high school graduate
• Meet the average freshman profile
– ACT composite score 18-23
– High School GPA 2.63-3.34
• Be enrolled full-time between WIU
and a partnering community college
• Meet academic program requirements
The Cohort Program is an opportunity to
earn a bachelor’s degree in select majors
with other first year students beginning at
the same time. Cohort students complete
all classes at WIU-QC.
Requirements include:
• ACT score of 22 or higher
• High school GPA of 3.0 or higher
• Maintain a 3.0 GPA at WIU
to be part of the Honors Program
If an applicant has not earned 24 hours of
transferable credit, that student will need
to meet freshman admissions standards.
Individual appointments are welcome and can be scheduled
by calling 309.762.1495. Admissions office hours are 8:00am-4:30pm.
