Global Studies Pathway The Global Studies Pathway prepares students to live and work in, and make sense of, an increasingly interdependent and multicultural world. Courses focus on the critical study of cultures and systems outside the United States, as well as on the political, economic, social, and cultural interrelationships within the contemporary global system. Your Pathway must contain 4 courses drawn from at least 3 of the disciplinary areas listed below. Honors, special-topics, and study-abroad courses may be used in Pathways if they have been approved for this purpose. Given the wide range of applicable courses, students should work with their advisors to choose courses that will inform their understanding of a particular issue, theme, or geographic area.
