Credit by Proficiency Examinations
Marist College grants credit to matriculated students for Advanced Placement (AP) if the exams are taken
before the student matriculates at Marist. Minimum scoring and credits awarded are shown below.
There is $25.00 per credit fee charged for credit by examination. Bills will be mailed to the student upon
receipt of official examination results. Credit will be applied to the student’s record upon receipt of the
paid fee.
Other proficiency examinations may be accepted but on a case-by-case basis.
