1. State Superintendent Talks Testing in Latest Blog Post
With end of the year approaching quickly for most students in North Carolina’s
public schools, State Superintendent June Atkinson discusses testing in her most
recent blog post. She notes while test results provide important information
about a student’s work, they are only a snapshot in a student’s overall
performance. Dr. Atkinson adds end-of-grade testing is not a movie of a child’s

Registration information for exhibitors for the 65th Annual Conference on
Exceptional Children is available on the Exceptional Children website

information regarding the Exceptional Children division’s largest event of the
year.
