Governor Teacher’s Network Launches New Website
A new website is available that provides information for North Carolina teachers who want to serve with the Governor’s Teacher Network (GTN). The GTN is a partnership between North Carolina Gov. Pat McCrory and the NCDPI that will select approximately

State Superintendent Atkinson Provides Home Base Update in Video

SES Provider Renewal Application for 2014-15 on the Web
The North Carolina Supplemental Educational Services (SES) provider renewal application period is open for state approved SES providers for the 2014-15 school year.

State Advisory Council on Indian Education Releases 2013 Report
The State Advisory Council on Indian Education released its 2013 Report, which is available online at http://www.ncpublicschools.org/americanindianed/reports .
The report is an outcome of research and data collection on American Indian students, and addresses the concerns of American Indian students and provides recommendations to the State Board of Education.
Resources for Community Eligibility Provision on the Web
A new page has been added to the Child Nutrition website that provides a number of resources related to the Community Eligibility Provision (CEP). The 2014 invitation to submit textbooks for evaluation and adoption in North Carolina is available to review on the Textbook Adoption Services website at http://www.ncpublicschools.org/textbook/process/invitation/ .
