The final grade for this semester of Practice-based Legal Writing comprises the following:
1. Class Participation and preparation grade (10%) (includes, but not limited to, active participation in
class, promptness and attendance, completion of ungraded and in-class assignments);
2. Closed Research legal analysis (persuasive) (20%);
3. Rewritten Closed Research legal analysis (persuasive) (10%);
4. Mediation Statement (15%);
5. Mediation-related Client correspondence (15%);
6. Rewritten Mediation-related Client correspondence (10%); and
7. Contract/Policy provisions (20%).
