Welcome back to campus!
We have almost 500 veterans and family members
receiving benefits this semester. We are looking
forward to a great year!
Here are some reminders
of what we need to certify
you for Fall semester.
Please remember to turn in
your Fall 2014 schedules to
our office so we can certify
you for the semester.
We now have a CAC
reader, which will be in-

stalled in our office for
your use.
With the start of a new
school year, Beck Hannaford has a few suggestions.
Give school 40 hours a
week. Come at 8 a.m. and
don’t leave until 5 p.m.
Do the math– Take math
classes early. Don’t wait
until senior year to take
them. Also, make sure you
are aware of the length of
your benefits. If you have
48 months, try to get your
degree in 48 months.
If you begin to struggle in
a class, contact the Learning Center in North Quad
350. They offer free tutoring for many of the core
classes.
New students just out of
AIT will need to file for
their GI Bill benefits. Remember you will apply for
Chapter 1606 benefits as a
Drilling Reservist.
If you need to apply for
benefits, you can do so
using the VONAPP which
can be found here.
