DRIVER INSTALLATION
NOTE：Please install the driver firstly, then connect the PC camera to the computer by USB interface. and finish
the installation as the follows.
1. Put the installation CD into the CD-ROM drive, then the menu window will appear automatically.
2. Click “Install Application Program”, then “Install DirectX9.0” to install DirectX9.0 application. When
application is installed, restart your computer.
3. Click "Install PC Camera Driver" button, the driver installation process will be launched automatically .You
may be asked, after an application is installed, if you want to restart your computer. Select “Yes”.
4. Connect your PC camera to the computer via USB interface, Microsoft windows "Find New Hardware"
window might appear, you only need to click "Next" or "Yes" to finish the installation.
In Windows 2000 only
When Digital Signature Not Found dialog boxes appears, click "Yes".
In Windows XP only
If a Microsoft warning dialog appears, ignore the message and click "Continue Anyway".
FUNSTION USE MANUAL
Click "Start\Programs\ KINSTONE USB PC Camera H\HAMCAP " , we can preview the image.
1. Click "Options/Video Capture Filter"
(1). Image setting
Configure the properties settings of video, including contrast, brightness, auto exposure, etc.
(2). Real-time Digital Zoom
Choose "Zoom" option, click "+" or "-" to run digital zoom.
Note: Digital zoom is invalid if 640x480 or above output size is selected.
(3). Special image effects
Click "Advanced Settings"，we can choose special effect or photo frames.
(4). Night vision
Click "Advanced Settings" ，then "Enable LED" we can turn on or off the lights.
Note: if lights is controlled by manual mode, this function is invalid.
2、 Click " Options/Video Capture Pin "
Set frame rate (up to 30 fps), color space and the window size.

● Recording a Video (Video E-Mail)
The Video E-Mail is your digital recorder. Set the video size and start recording. Amazingly simple,
you will wonder how you ever lived without it. You may record and save the video to a file or better yet, email it
to a friend.
● Monitoring a view (Video Monitor 2.0)
The Video Monitor can be used in many ways, such as video monitoring, recording and playback.
● Managing video data
Click Browser button to start the Browser. Use the Browser to view, arrange, remove, drag and drop,
capture and sort video data within your video folders.
● Sending a greeting card (Photo Greeting Cards)
Use Photo Greeting Cards to create electronic cards. Photo Greeting Cards has 20 categories containing
over 100 different cards. Give it a try! Select a card, add some text, add your voice then make some final
changes. There you have it, … an electronic card! Next, send it to your family or a friend.
Select a category then select a card.

TROUBLE SHOOTING
1. The computer can not find the digital PC-camera
1) Please study the installation process carefully, operate according to the installation guide strictly.
2) If the notebook PC uses this equipment, it doesn't work: Propose reducing the figure acceleration of the
VGA card.
2. The PC camera can not work normally
1) Restart, reinstall the software; Reinsert USB plug or restart the computer if it hang up ; check the
computer;
2) If Images are too bright or too dim, please adjust the luminance and contrast of the background
3) Generally, the PC camera can regulate light automatically according to the environment to show the
normal luminance;
if the light is too bright or dark in the environment will cause exposure abnormally, please change the
luminance or adjust brightness & contrast by image control.
Maintenance and Storage
1. Please do not let the PC Camera toward the sunshine to protect the image sensor .
2. Prevent the digital lens from contacting the oil, steam, and dust;
3. Do not touch the lens with your fingers.
4. Clean the camera with a soft and dry cloth, do not use solvent such as alcohol.
