The Council met from 9:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. in the Board Room of the University Union. CAGAS
approved a blanket waiver of up to 6 hours of upper-division credit for certain GCOM majors who were
advised to enroll in GCOM 312 and/or GCOM 313 for FL15, prior to those courses being changed to
GCOM 212 and GCOM 213, if alternative upper-division courses are not available in order for these
students to graduate as planned. The next meeting will be held Tuesday, August 18, at 9:00 a.m. in the
Lincoln Room of the University Union.
