About the Speaker and Presentation
Jed Anderson is an environmental attorney in private practice in Houston, Texas. Jed's primary focus
is air quality and climate change—assisting clients with issues from permitting and policy to
compliance and enforcement. Jed has counseled clients in obtaining environmental authorization for a
variety of large and small projects including billion dollar petrochemical, energy, and marine projects.
Before beginning his solo practice, Jed worked with the law firms of Vinson & Elkins LLP and Baker
Botts LLP. Jed also was an Adjunct Professor of Law at the University of Houston Law School where
he taught the Clean Air Act Class. Jed worked with the South Dakota Department of Environmental
and Natural Resources as a tribal relations liaison and ground water scientist before entering the
practice of law.
