Please note the following: • Full papers o Full papers will be peer-reviewed and included in the conference proceedings. o Authors must first submit a draft abstract for approval, before submitting a draft paper for peer review. • Extended abstracts o Extended abstracts will not be peer-reviewed, and will not be included in the official conference proceedings. Extended abstracts will be included separately on the CD containing the proceedings. o Authors must submit a draft abstract for approval, before submitting a final extended abstract for distribution. o Extended abstracts should be no more than three pages long, including bibliography. • Posters o Posters will not be peer-reviewed, and will not be included in the official conference proceedings. Poster abstracts will be included separately on the CD containing the proceedings. o Authors must submit a draft abstract for approval, and a final abstract for distribution. • Only full papers will be eligible for the Best Paper Award. • Students may submit in any of the three categories, but only full papers will be eligible for the Best Student Paper Award. • At least one author must be registered for the conference by March 9th, 2012 for the paper or abstract to be included in the conference proceedings. Deadlines Extended Abstracts and Posters: Draft Abstract Due: February 3rd, 2012 Acceptance Notification: March 2nd, 2012 Final Abstract Due: March 9th, 2012 Full Length Papers: Draft Abstract Due: December 23rd, 2011 Acceptance Notification: January 6th, 2012 Draft Paper Due: February 3rd, 2012 Paper Acceptance Notification: March 2nd, 2012 Final Paper Due: March 9th, 2012 Abstract Format Guidelines Title of Paper/Poster • The title must be centered with at least a 1 ½” margin on the left and right. • The title must be in bold, 14-point Times New Roman font. • Include the author information using 12-point Times New Roman font. The author names and affiliations should be centered, with one blank line after the title. Multiple affiliations should be denoted by a superscripted letter. Please include the email address of the corresponding author. When referring to a reference in the text, type the corresponding number in superscript form. Draft Paper Guidelines Title of Paper/Poster • The title must be centered with at least a 1 ½” margin on the left and right. • The title must be in bold, 14-point Times New Roman font. • Reviews will be completed as a double-blind process. Do not include author or affiliation information anywhere in the draft paper. Abstract Abstracts are not required for the draft or final paper. If included, the abstract should be separated from the author information by one blank line. All other formatting should follow the guidelines for the body of the paper below.
