Graduate Assistant Needed
The Recreation, Park, and Tourism Administration department at
Western Illinois University, Quad City Campus (Moline, IL), is
currently soliciting applications for a Graduate Assistant. The student
selected would work part-time (20 hours per week) at the Two Rivers
YMCA in Moline, IL. Employment would start in August 2016 for the

Coordinator at the Figge, is seeking volunteers
for this Saturdays Free Family Day! The Figge
Art Museum is located at 225 W. 2nd St,
Davenport.
Family day will take place from 10 am – 2 pm.

Dave Murcia, Director/Naturalist at
Wapsi Environmental Education
Center in Dixon, IA for taking the
time to present in our class RPTA
488- Park Open Space Management.
Dave Murcia has spent his career
working with endangered species
and manages a large parcel of land.
He engaged students in a discussion
about topics with a Q&A and
brought in an Ornate Box Turtle and
Speckled King Snake, both of which
are protected in Iowa. Thanks Dave!
