Leslie has space for 100 total tiles, arranged in a 10 ft. by 10 ft. square. How many white
and brown titles will Leslie need to buy? Support your answer with suitable working and
reasoning.
4.
The tiles cost $15 each. This week, white tiles are on sale for 20% off. A landscaper told
Leslie he could do the entire project for $1500, including labor and materials. By finding
the total cost of the project, evaluate whether or not Leslie should proceed with this
project on her own or hire the landscaper.
