When the Bryants leave town for a vacation, they put their dog Tyco in a
kennel. The kennel charges $15 for a firstday flea bath and $5 per day. Define your variables and write an equation to model the situation. How much would the Bryants pay if they left Tyco at the Kennel for 6 days? (Show your work!)
Sarah mows lawns for extra money in the summer. If you'd like her to mow your lawn this summer, she'll charge you $12 plus $3 for every hour it takes her to mow your lawn (font yard and back yard).
1. Define your variables and write an
equation to model the situation.
2. Graph the function that models the
situation.
