Based Grade Unit Rubric: Letter Grade 5 A 4 B 3 C 2 D 1 F Description Mastery. Student exceeds the standard. They not only meet all criteria for a Level 4 grade, but also complete the mastery assignment. Student meets the standard. They cite evidence, using the correct citation format, that supports an analysis of a primary and/or secondary source. If asked, they correctly identify whether a source is primary or secondary, who the author of the source is, what the name of the source is and when the source was written. They answer all parts of the question. Student is approaching the standard. They incorporate some but not all of the elements of a Level 4 grade. Student does not fulfill one of the following conditions: -­‐ Using the correct citation format -­‐ Citing evidence that supports the analysis -­‐ Correctly answering all parts of the question Student puts in effort but is not approaching the standard. Student does not fulfill more than one of the following conditions: -­‐ Using correct citation format -­‐ Citing evidence that supports the analysis -­‐ Answering all parts of the question No answer given. Student does not attempt the standard.
