Reviewing Candidate Materials in Jobs@UNI Search Committee Member After a position announcement is approved, candidates will submit their application materials online through the Jobs@UNI system. Search committee members have the ability to view candidate materials online at anytime from anywhere with Internet access. 1. Access the Jobs@UNI website by entering http://jobs.uni.edu. Click on Login in the upper right corner. Then click on Search Administration Login and enter your CatID username and password. If an error message is received, check to make sure you have clicked on Search Administration Login rather than Applicant Login. 2. Click on Search Management, found in the yellow bar at the top of the page. Then click Go to Search Committee Home. 1 3. Click the radio button beside the search you would like to view. Click Select Search to proceed to the Faculty Search Committee Options screen. 4. To view candidates that have applied for the position, click Rate Applicants. 5. To view each candidate’s submitted materials, click on a candidate’s name listed under Applicant Name. Then click on the documents provided by the candidate under each of the yellow headings. 2 6. OPTIONAL: Once you have viewed an applicant’s materials, click on the Member Rating Options tab and enter ratings in the Member Rating Option and Search Committee Rating Member Options fields. Click Save Rating Information when finished. The ratings entered by a committee member represent his/her personal opinion and not that of the entire committee. Final ratings for each candidate will be determined by the entire search committee and entered by the search chair on behalf of the committee as a whole. 7. If you have provided optional ratings in step 6, you are able to view a summary of the information that you have entered by returning to the Search Committee Options page and clicking on My Ranking Details and My Pre-Interview Information in the Reports section.
