Geometric Sequence
A geometric sequence is a sequence in which the ratio of any term to the term before it is constant.
Are the following sequences arithmetic, geometric, or neither?
1) 5, 15, 45, 135,...
2) 6, ­24, 96, ­384,...

4) 8, 18, 30, 44,...

Geometric Mean
You can find the geometric mean of any two positive numbers by taking the positive square root of the product of the two numbers.
geometric mean = √product of the two numbers
You can use the geometric mean to find a missing term of a geometric sequence.
