#2 goes on the next blank page after we finish with #1 notes.
The title of each section goes in the Table of Contents & the
Upper Margin of each page of notes.

Set up the first 3 pages in TOC and page 1 Margin.

First, you need to line up the decimals and then line up the numbers.
If there is no number to line up, you can insert a Zero (0).
Second, you have to figure out if you are adding or subtracting.
If you add, you might need to carry a number to the next column.
If you subtract, you might need to borrow a number from the next column.

Multiplying and Dividing by 10 moves the decimal to the right or left in the original number.
If you multiply a positive number that is bigger than 1 by 10, the answer should get bigger.
The decimal should move to the right .
If you divide a positive number that is bigger than 1 by 10, the answer should get smaller.
The decimal should move to the left .

Estimating Sums/Differences (Kayak) WS
Mult/Div by 10 on Back...
In Groups of 2, write 5 multiplication and 5 division questions.
(10, 100, etc...)
Switch papers with another group and do all 10 problems.
After completing the problems, give them back to the group that made them.
Check to see if the problems where completed correctly.
