Dr. Matthew H. Spieker, Orchestra Director
Matthew H. Spieker has been a music educator for
over 20 years. He has taught in U.S. school districts
within the states of South Carolina and Colorado, and
he is currently teaching at Fort Collins High School. Dr.
Spieker has also taught internationally at the John F.
Kennedy Schule (a German-American School) in
Berlin, Germany.
Dr. Spieker has been an orchestra teacher,
adjudicator, ensemble coach, clinician, and guest
conductor. He has worked with students in the states
of South Carolina, Colorado, and Arizona. He has also worked in various places
abroad such as Brussels, Vienna, Geneva and Beijing.
Dr. Spieker holds a Bachelors Degree in music education from the University of
Northern Colorado, a Masters Degree from Converse College in Spartanburg,
South Carolina, and a Doctorate Degree from the University of Northern
Colorado.
