About the workshop
The aims & of the workshop is to discuss the
biological updates on a common platform for
exchange their knowledge and experiences. The
workshop will cover different aspects of the
advanced topics in the field of plant biology,
taxonomy, biodiversity, distribution and bioprospection including the biotechnological aspects
and its applications. The programme will include 08
invited lectures.

How to Reach Aizawl
Mizoram is a part of North-East India surrounded
by the mighty Himalayas, the plains of
Bangladesh and hills of Myanmar. Aizawl can be
reached by Air through Kolkata/Guwahati.
Connected flights are also available from Delhi,
Mumbai, Chennai and Hyderabad. The MZU is
approximately 35 km away from Lengpui Airport
towards Aizawl city. Silchar is the nearest railway
station, 175 km away from Aizawl. The journey
(by road) from Silchar to Aizawl takes around 6-8
hrs. Although, climatic conditions are feasible
throughout the year and the month of October is
conducive with temperature remains between
180C to 250C.
