WHEREAS: The Uprising Magazine requests student organization registration; and
WHEREAS: They estimate they have twenty members; and
WHEREAS: Their organization will promote UNI students interested or majoring in areas of
fashion, journalism, graphic design, art, and photography; and
WHEREAS: They will do this by creating a biannual magazine featuring the work of UNI
students and promoting local businesses, culture, and community; and
RECOGNIZING: That this organization hopes to promote UNI in a new medium and showcase
students in a unique way; thus
BE IT THEREFORE ENACTED: That the Uprising Magazine is granted registration by the
Northern Iowa Student Government.
