Gill Harris is Regional Director of Nursing for NHS England North. Prior to this Gill was seconded to
NHS North of England as Deputy Chief Executive and has worked as Director of Nursing and
Performance and Director of Infection Prevention and Control (DIPC) at Wrightington, Wigan and
Leigh NHS Foundation Trust.

ago. He was a lay assessor for NHS England on five CCG authorisation panels in 2012 and is

registered nurse for 32 years, the last 10 of which have been at executive nurse director level. In his
current role, Mike leads on patient safety, service quality and clinical governance.

Trust and has a clinical background in medical/cardiology nursing. She has also been a ward
manager of an acute care of the elderly ward and a neurosurgical ward.
