Gill Harris is Regional Director of Nursing for NHS England North. Prior to this Gill was seconded to
NHS England North as Deputy Chief Executive and has worked as Director of Nursing and
Performance and Director of Infection Prevention and Control (DIPC) at Wrightington, Wigan and
Leigh NHS Foundation Trust.

Trevor Fernandes is a Heart Advocate for the British Heart Foundation and over the last 7 years, has
been actively involved in promoting a number of BHF campaigns for good heart health - most
recently, the ‘Mending Broken Hearts’ appeal. Trevor is a patient representative at the Mid Essex
Trust and chairs a heart support group and a Patient Participation Group in mid Essex.

was Chair of Headway South West London, a charity which supports people affected by traumatic
brain injury and their families/carers. Until recently she was a member of the National Clinical

Howard Naylor is an independent organisational development consultant with many years'
experience of working with the NHS. He is a fellow of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and
Development and has a particular interest in ensuring excellent HR management. Having survived a
cancer diagnosis in 2007, Howard also works with a local north-west based group developing ways
to improve the patients' experience of living with and beyond cancer.

Deputy Director of Contracting and Business Intelligence. Fleur has 26 years’ experience of working
in health care in both the private and public sector. Fleur is a registered general nurse and during her
career has worked in a number of hospitals including specialist and acute providers and as a
commissioner of health care services.
