MHRD's QEEE pilot program Please find below some details on the program modules. Live Classes A total of 12 courses will be offered as “Live Classes” in the QEEE pilot. In each course, 15 sessions/lectures will be handled by the IIT faculty. The schedule and syllabus for the 12 courses can be found on this website within the documents tab. Virtual Labs 1. Five lab courses will be offered as part of the QEEE pilot 2. Each lab course will run for a total of 8 sessions, starting Feb 3rd, 2014. Every session will be of 3 hour duration (slotted between 2 pm-5 pm every day, MonFri) 3. During these 3 hour sessions, a remote lab tutor will be available to clarify doubts and interact with students, however, all participating colleges are expected to assign a local lab faculty for each of the labs, to be available throughout the session on all days the lab is being offered. (The local lab faculty nominated by the college will be trained by the remote lab mentor on how to handle the lab etc. through an online session which will be scheduled in January, 2014) 4. Slotting for labs: a. Each lab is offered through the week between 2 pm- 5 pm every day and can accommodate 20 colleges per day b. Colleges are requested to get back to us on which day they would like to take what lab in the following format COLLEGE NAME: S. NO. LAB NAME 1. Electrical Machines Lab 2. Virtual Smart Structures and Dynamics Lab 3. Micromachining Lab 4. Physical Sciences Lab 5. Digital Signal Processing Lab DAY PREFERENCE c. As every lab slot has limited capacity (of max. 20 colleges), participating colleges are requested to write to us at the earliest with their slot preference. Tutorials 1. For the pilot, a tutorial on the course “Computational Architecture & Organization” will be offered 2. Each tutorial session is of one hour duration and can accommodate 25 colleges (30 students per college) 3. The tutorial is slotted between 3 pm – 4 pm & 4 pm – 5 pm every day from Monday to Friday 4. The college is requested to write to us regarding the day and slot (3-4 pm or 4-5 pm) preference for the tutorial. Kindly note that there will be 2 simultaneous tutorial sessions (for 2 batches of 30 students each) during the same slot.
