Look for your program of interest link in the center of the page. From here look for the Program Conference link on the right. ii. The Registration page that will show the times, dates and locations of available Program Conferences. All programs require placement tests which can be met one of three ways: i. COMPASS test (scores must be completed within 3 years to be valid) OR ACT/SAT test (scores must be completed within 3 years to be valid)- Test Center located at 2055 Cedar Hall (319-398-5456) 1. Programs WITH REQUIRED scores for COMPASS/ACT a. Dental Assisting, Dental Technology, Diagnostic Assistant (Radiological Technology), Electroneurodiagnostic Technology, Health Information Technology/Medical Coding, Medical Assisting, Medical Laboratory Tech, Medical Transcription, Respiratory Therapy, and Surgical Technology 2. Programs WITHOUT REQUIRED scores COMPASS/ACT a. Dental Hygiene, Occupational Therapy Assistant, and Physical Therapist Assistant ii. Completion of college level course work with a C- or better (not for Dental Hygiene, OTA or PTA) 1. Coursework depend on the program so please make sure you find this out at the program conference iii. Completion of a previous college degree (Associates, Bachelors, Masters, or Professional) Dental Hygiene with score of 67.3% or higher composite. Occupational Therapy Assistant with score of 66.7% or higher composite. Physical Therapist Assistant with score of 60.0% or higher composite. i.
