You have not previously been enrolled at Muskegon Community College, except as a high school guest student. You have two letters of recommendation from teachers in the institution last attended: one in English, the other in your chosen performance area 2. What is special about this scholarship? There is no other scholarship like this at MCC; this one is based on performance in a particular area. It is for you if you have special talents in writing or communication and you wish the opportunity to develop those talents. 3. What courses will I be expected to take? You must take one course in the performance area each semester while you are on scholarship. Other courses may be taken to fulfill your own preferences or to meet graduation requirements. 4. Is the scholarship renewable? Yes. Providing that you maintain a 3.0 GPA in the performance area and an overall 2.0 GPA, it is renewable up to 62 credits. 5. What if I have already received other scholarship or grant monies? The amount of this scholarship varies but will not exceed the cost of tuition when coordinated with other awards you may receive. 6.
