Candidates: Currently enrolled Faculty of Education graduate Masters or Doctoral students who possess excellent communication and have very good research and writing skills. We are looking for individuals who would like the opportunity to work as a team with the Associate Dean of Graduate Studies and Research on a new graduate project – Strengthening our Core – graduate completions and supervision. Skills: The candidate should possess excellent English communication skills, (written and oral), interpersonal and intercultural skills, excellent time management and organizational skills and enjoy meeting and connecting with other Faculty of Education students and faculty members. Duties: Reporting to and working under the leadership of the Associate Dean, Graduate Studies and Research in the Faculty of Education and managed by the Assistant to the Associate Dean of Graduate Studies and Research, the RAs will work as a team to conduct a variety of project tasks including: • Meeting/interviewing staff, faculty and other graduate students to investigate, collect and analyze data and other related project activities in order to develop reports for presentation to Faculty and scholarly conference(s) • Create surveys/research best practices/write report on findings RA Details: Salary: $25/hour Hours: 20 hours/month over four or five months – schedule tbd Term of Appointment: September 2014 – February 2015 Location: Faculty of Education, no office space is available, must have own transportation and laptop.
