The Northside Dining Terrace Featuring Chick-Fil-A, Subway, Currito, Sushi and Market, in the heart of the residential campus, next to Kelly Hall. Creese Café Creese Café is a coffee and bagel shop located on the first floor of Creese Student Center, located on Chestnut Street between 32nd and 33rd Streets. The Café offers a complete selection of specialty coffee options as well as freshly baked bagels, sandwiches, salads, wraps, and pastries. Enjoy all of your favorites at Starbucks! 4 About Drexel University Drexel University was founded in 1891 as the Drexel Institute of Art, Science and Industry by Philadelphia financier and philanthropist Anthony J. Drexel to provide educational opportunities in the “practical arts and sciences” for women and men of all backgrounds. The Drexel Institute of Technology gained university status in 1970, becoming Drexel University. On July 1, 2002, Drexel entered a new era as Philadelphia’s technological leader in health sciences education, when the University was officially united with the former MCP Hahnemann University creating Drexel College of Medicine, College of Nursing and Health Professions, and the School of Public Health.
