PROPERTY MANAGEMENT
The property management industry employs 297,000 in
management and has an expected job growth of 12% by 2022.
As this growth continues, the role of the property manager is
becoming increasingly complex, leading to a demand for more
experienced and better-educated professionals.
Drexel's B.S. in Property Management program provides the
interdisciplinary education needed to succeed in the
challenging and dynamic field of real estate management. The
curriculum includes a foundation in general education and
social science, specialized study in property management and
construction management, and advanced knowledge of real
estate, business and property law, presentation and
promotion, accounting, and finance.

companies in the Philadelphia region and beyond, the Property Management Industry Advisory Board
provides also valuable curriculum insight and supports the continued success of the Property
Management program.
A degree in property management prepares students for careers in land development, acquisitions, asset
management, advertising and marketing, commercial lending, facilities and property management, as well
as other property management-related careers in the public and private sectors. Available co-ops provide
experiential learning, which prepare students to enter a variety of careers within real estate management.
There are a very limited number of property management degree and certificate programs available
worldwide. Drexel graduates are strategically prepared for real estate management careers and poised
for success.
