We’ve got this ‘cause we’ve got brainy hearts.

1. Put an extra quarter in someone's parking meter.

-MMcK

(chi - pronounced “chee”) in your living environment is affected by the placement of things and objects within it. Since chi affects how we feel both emotionally and physically, simple improvements could help make this your best year ever.

1. Move your books so they do not face you while you sleep. Feng shui says that books act like sharp instruments, cutting through your sleep patterns and good vibrations.

2. Place your desk against a wall that faces east if at all possible. Feng shui says that east is the direction to point when you want to build wisdom.

3. Do not place your computer near the head of your bed. If it has to be there, cover it at night and always turn it off before you go to sleep.

4. The color blue encourages calm. Use it for a wall hanging or your bed linens. ehow.com/how_2122279_feng-shui-dorm-room.html

How to make the New Years Resolutions Stick

S.M.A.R.T. Goals

Specific: A specific goal has a much greater chance of being accomplished than a general goal.

Measurable Establish concrete criteria for measuring progress each goal you set.

Attainable – You can attain most any goal you set when you plan your steps wisely and establish a time frame that allows you to carry out those steps. .

Realistic - To be realistic, a goal must represent an objective toward which you are both willing and able to work.

Timely – A goal should be grounded within a time frame. With no time frame tied to it there’s no sense of urgency. If you want to lose 10 lbs, when do you want to lose it by? “Someday” won’t work. But if you anchor it within a time frame, “by

May 1st,” then you’ve set into motion to begin working on the goal. topachievement.com/smart.html
