Proposals should be submitted a minimum of 12 months prior to proposed program dates. Complete this form, attaching all
supporting documentation. Obtain signature from Dean and submit to International Programs. International Programs will submit
the proposal to the Study Abroad Review Committee for review and decision. Repeat programs must submit a proposal each year.

Compare/contrast components of home culture and host culture experienced through the study abroad program
Develop intercultural competencies and tools to enable the ability to move across boundaries and see the world from
multiple perspectives

5. How are you qualified to direct this program? Have you traveled to this area/location before? Do you
