Student Life
Student Life hosts more than 75 free
events per year and over 80 organized
student groups. There is always something
going on between classes, and when class
is done for the day, the action really heats

The Café and cheering on our nationally

Our recreation center is open year-round
and free for all Kirkwood students. With
three full-sized athletic courts, a 200-meter
track, weight room, aerobics room, dozens
of modern machines, a full offering of
fitness classes and more, it’s easy for
students to stay fit and healthy.

Kirkwood admits international students for
fall, spring or summer terms. To ensure you
are admitted in a timely manner, submit your
application documents 6-8 weeks prior to the
start of the term.
Applications are accepted on a rolling basis.
After Admission
Kirkwood will send an official letter of
acceptance along with the I-20 Welcome
Packet. Once this packet is received, make an
appointment at the U.S. Embassy and take
the I-20 and financial statement to the visa
interview to obtain the F-1 visa.
