1987 to present
These BPCR scores constitute the complete results of every National
Championship since its inception in 1986. They consist of scanned
version of the official NRA results booklets that were mailed to every
competitor after the matches. The NRA allegedly archives this material,
but I found it to be impossible for mere mortals to gain access to them).
Fortunately, and almost unbelievably, one man, Mike Venturino (say
Hello Mike), has been to every one of these matches since the beginning,
and he was kind enough to loan his copies of the results to me for this
project.
In a perfect world, I would prefer that
these records would be in spreadsheet
format or at least as text. But, because
these images were scanned, they are
simply images of the pages that have
been translated
into PDF files. If
anyone is
courageous
enough to
translate them
into text or
spreadsheets –
More power to ya
and I would be
happy to post
them on this
website.
Meanwhile, you will need a PDF reader to view them. You can safely and
simply download FREE software for that purpose directly from Adobe
HERE.
In the future, I will endeavor to add each year’s results as they become
available, but I encourage everyone that has an interest in this game to
download a copy of each year’s results, ensuring that these copies will
always exist somewhere. Spread them around, give them away, and enjoy
researching who was shooting what, and how well.
PS. Say thanks to Mike for these records if you run across him at a match somewhere. He
is a big guy and hard to miss, and he doesn’t bite (usually). I promise 
PPS. Would not it be nice to have a similar set of records for Black Powder Target Rifle
Creedmoor and Midrange shooting? Does anybody have a set of the results? (Jonathan L.,
your phone is ringing…)

your browser. Some of these files are large (5 Megs) so they can take a
while to open so be patient.
