NOTES: 1. Following the recommended course sequence is critical to your successful development in the BFA in Entertainment Design program. 2. In particular, the suggested progression of ART and DES courses is very important if you aim to complete this degree in four years. 3. The senior level capstone course, DES-490, is a two-semester, six (6) credit course that must be taken in two separate semesters. 4. All Comics and Sequential Art ‘Concentration Requirements’ must be completed before students can take the capstone course, DES-490. ADDITIONAL PROGRAM NOTES AND REQUIREMENTS A. B. C D. It takes an average of 16 credits per semester to complete this degree in four (4) years. Students must fulfill the Ethnic Studies and Global Perspective requirements according to UW-Stout criteria. A Mid-Program Portfolio Review is a requirement for graduation. GRADE REQUIREMENTS: A grade of “C” (2.0) or better in each Art and Design Department class (those with an ART/ARTH/DES prefix) is required for graduation, as well as, a grade point average (GPA) of 2.5 or better in School of Art and Design (ART/DES/ARTH) courses and a 2.0 overall GPA is required for graduation.
