Sample Four Year Plan: Fall 2013
Early Childhood Program: Certification Concentration
School of Education
University of Wisconsin-Stout
This sample four year plan will be an invaluable aid in mapping out your ECE program. You do not have to
follow this plan exactly as it is written, but it does follow all the guidelines for the program. It is sequenced so
that prerequisites are taken in the correct order. If you deviate from the plan, make sure that you take
prerequisites in the correct order and that you meet all requirements for registering for any specific course.
Avoid enrolling for a course unless you have successfully completed the prerequisite for that course. Also,
note the reminders regarding additional requirements such as the PPST and First Aid.
