District Regulation 6.1560 EXAMINATIONS states: A final examination or a final means of assessment
will be given in each course. Final examinations or a final means of assessment will be scheduled by the
dean responsible for instructional services unless special arrangements are made with that dean. If a
student fails to complete a scheduled final examination or assessment and provides a satisfactory
explanation, the instructor may arrange for a make-up examination. If a student fails to complete a
scheduled final examination or assessment and provides no satisfactory explanation, the instructor may

ward a course grade of F or I.

3. Saturday classes will be examined at the regular meeting hours on Saturday, May 7, 2016. Two (2) hours
are allowed for the final exam.
4. Examinations for classes with laboratories are scheduled by lecture hours. Two (2) hours are allowed for
the final exam.
5. Please remember that students who have previously indicated physical or learning disabilities which require
extended testing time must be allowed that same extension for finals. Specific questions on appropriate
length of testing time may be addressed to the Special Needs Counselor.
6. Students who have a conflict in examination times or have 3 or more exams scheduled on the same day
may arrange to reschedule one of the exams with the permission of the instructor.
7. HOW TO READ THE FINAL EXAM SCHEDULE:
Column #1 gives times (If class begins between) - Locate your class beginning time, then move across the
appropriate examination column and note the time of your examination. For example, if you have a class
which begins between 9:00A-9:55A - T R, you would locate that time in column #1 -- 9:00 to 9:55, then
column #2 –T, MTWRF, TR following that line across, you would then note that your exam is scheduled
for 9:00 a.m.-11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, May 3, 2016.
