Student must complete a Writing Intensive course AND either a Human Diversity
course or Learning Community as part of the General Education Requirements.
1 Students who take only SPDR 100 will be required to complete a course in
interpersonal communication to fulfill Rockhurst’s proficiency requirement. A one
credit hour option is available at Rockhurst.
2 Students who take this course will be required to complete at least 1 credit hour
of studio work.
3 If SPDR 103 is taken to meet Communication Competency, it cannot be counted
as an elective.
