(a) (i) Use a hand lens to examine AS1 and then make a drawing of a section of the lower surface of AS1. Labels are not required. Replace the test-tube in the water-bath and leave for 15 minutes. Repeat this procedure with AS2. You should begin Question 2 or Question 3 while the test-tubes are in the waterbath. After 15 minutes, carefully remove the test-tube from the water-bath and use forceps to remove AS1. Rinse AS1 in water to soften the leaf and then spread AS1 on to a tile.
