where VOCs or asphalt or solvent fumes are unacceptable, like for hospitals,

The ASHRAE Standard addresses building envelope and system requirements for commercial buildings, residential buildings higher than three stories, and
semi-conditioned buildings (warehouses, etc.). It is the nation’s model standard for establishing the energy performance requirements of these building types.
Available in either a glass fiber-reinforced cellulosic
felt or coated glass-fiber mat facers, which helps
eliminate ponding water.

The recommended insulation R-values for commercial
roofing continue to increase, which is good news
for building owners looking to save costs and
help the environment. States adopt these
recommendations at different speeds,
but the bottom line is that insulation
is becoming more important than
ever. EnergyGuard™ Polyiso Insulation
is designed for use over structural roof
decks where R-values of 5.7 or higher
are required along with comprehensive
UL and FM approvals. It’s also safer for
the environment, being manufactured
with EPA-compliant blowing agents
containing no CFCs or HCFCs as well
as having zero ozone depletion potential
(ODP) and virtually no global warming
potential (GWP).

Coated glass facer bonded to a polyiso foam core
providing increased compressive strength which is
ideal to protect your roof against high traffic and
the elements.
They are designed for use in practically any lowslope roof application, including built-up roofs,
modified bitumen, or most single-ply roofing
systems. All products met the requirements of ASTM
C1289 Type II, Class 1, Grade 2 (20 PSI), and
available in Grade 3 (25 PSI) and are both Factory
Mutal (FM) and Underwriters Lab (UL) approved.
And because of its light weight, this material is
easy to handle on the job site and installs faster.
Easier cutting in the field provides the installer with
simplified fabricating on the roof deck.
