The campus is an integral part of Milwaukee County’s south side communities, committed to enhancing the cultural and economic vibrancy of the area. Twenty-seven associate degrees, 34 technical diplomas and 16 certificates can be taken entirely at the campus. More than 1,500 students participate in the college’s English as a Second Language/English Language Learners (ESL/ELL) program. Some are course-to-course transfer agreements, others will allow complete degree transfer. In many cases, associate degree graduates can enter other institutions with junior status. Online and Bilingual Options MATC offers nearly 400 courses and 23 academic programs entirely online. The college also offers nine bilingual programs and apprenticeships to meet the needs of Hispanic and Hmong populations. Numerous individual bilingual classes also are available for pre-college, associate degree, technical diploma and certificate students.
