Dear CLRP Grant Selection Committee:
We the undersigned, as participants with the White River National Forest in the Future
Forest Roundtable, offer our support of this Collaborative Forest Landscape Restoration
(CFLRP) grant application, and the collaborative approach to forest management that it
will make possible.
We agree that this is an important opportunity to leverage our resources for the greater
good of the land. As participants in the formation of the Future Forest Roundtable, we
will continue to be involved in all aspects of landscape project activities, from design
and implementation to monitoring and public education. And most importantly we will
continue to forge and nurture the collaborative infrastructure necessary for meaningful
integrative management of the forest.
We believe that this grant will catalyze innovative management practices and alliances
that will result in ecological benefits to our forest and economic benefits to our
community for generations to come.
