Research residency programs (note deadlines and requirements, like LoR requirements) Unsure of your specialty choice? ERAS e-tokens will be emailed to you by July 1st by the Department of Career Services. Complete ERAS Common Application Form Complete Personal Statement Continue to request LoRs, if needed Make and finalize LoR slots in ERAS (additional slots can be made at anytime) Request medical school transcript for ERAS o o o o Apply to residency programs as early and as broadly as possible, including back-up plans if necessary. With some programs it is first-come; first-served (you do not have to wait for all of your LoRs to be in to apply). ***Apply to enough programs so that you have choices*** Track and confirm receipt of supporting documents on ERAS (some programs will not send out interview invitations until applications are complete) Make appointment to review your MSPE (review must be done in person) or send in release form when notified (contact Department of Career Services) Register for the Match (Osteopathic Match registration opens in June; allopathic on September 1st) □ Osteopathic □ Allopathic (Check both if you register for both) Note: in order to be eligible for the NRMP Supplemental Offer and Acceptance Program (SOAP) you must be registered with the NRMP and have applied to at least one ACGME program. Match Registration Deadlines: DO Match early registration deadline is November 1st ; MD Match early registration deadline is November 30th Contact Deb Seaman if assistance is needed with the COMLEX Level 2-PE Resubmit transcript requests in ERAS for updated COMLEX transcripts, if needed January – March of 4th Year o o o o o o Submit and certify Rank Order List (ROL) for the Osteopathic Match prior to the deadline If you do not rank any programs in the osteopathic Match, YOU must withdrawal yourself from the Match prior to the ROL certification deadline Review Scramble procedures and prepare (just in case) Withdrawal yourself from the NRMP Match if you have Matched in the AOA Match or are already committed to a residency position Submit and certify Rank Order List (ROL) for the NRMP Match prior to the deadline if you are eligible to participate in the NRMP Match Review NRMP SOAP procedures and prepare.
