We will be moving into a new McCrae school building in the fall 2009. The number of
classrooms, meeting rooms and the size of the gym and library will increase.,
compared to the former school.

The McCrae property is 7.2 acres of paved area, mostly green
space and Maple Bush. The floor of the Maple Bush has been
mulched to protect the tree roots. There are many mature trees
all over the property, which backs onto the Speed River. It is a
beautiful school site.
McCrae School Council has purchased 2 new play structures
within the last 3 years.
The school is considered a Core Area school by the City of
Guelph.
