Volunteer with Back to Natives on the Cleveland
National Forest
Do you have some extra time on your hands this
summer? Feel like spending some time outside,
getting some exercise, hanging out with some
interesting people? Back to Natives is working to
remove three miles of non-native invasive weeds
along the South Main Divide Road in the Cleveland
National Forest, starting at Elsinore Peak and heading
north toward Ortega Highway.
USFS and Back to Native Restoration Volunteer
Training Program: The USFS & Back to Natives
Restoration provides volunteer training on ecological
restoration to provide for healthy ecosystems. The
program is for volunteers interested in the restoration
and conservation of wildlands. Successfully habitat
restoration provides for native species protection while
