unspoiled
public lands and islands
are featured in this segment of the
Florida Gulf Coast, from
the high dunes of St.
Joseph Peninsula State
Park to the wild palmlined shores of St. Vincent
Island to the old-growth
coastal slash pine forests
of Cape St. George State
Reserve. Paddlers will
also enjoy the protected
St. Joseph bay, where we
will spend our first day on
the water learning essential paddling skills.
Participants will have a good chance of seeing local marine life such as dolphins and
viewing amazing sunsets. You won’t want to
miss this epic trip!
UW - Stout offers many alternative Spring
Break trips from kayaking Florida’s Golf
Coast to a service learning project in the Twin
Cities. Below, you will find descriptions and
highlights for a few of this year’s trips.

Break! This spring your
student may be attending a trip with their school
or going somewhere with
the family. Next year, they may have bigger
plans. Before they tell you, (said in a whiny
sing-song voice) “All of my friends are going
to Vegas for Spring Break.” Here is what you
need to know…
