The Forest Engineer shall recommend a qualified individual to the Contracting Officer. 7413.7 - Monumentation of Underground Utilities In addition to the monumentation, document the location of all valve boxes, ends of drains, and other small structures by giving the distance to the item from two permanent well-identifiable objects. 7413.8 - Condition Surveys A condition survey is a report prepared by the system operator to provide the system manager with a list of needs and a summary of the overall condition of the system. 7413.9 - Operation and Maintenance Plan Establish permanent case folders for each inventoried potable water system, waterborne wastewater system, and solid waste disposal site and maintain at Forest Supervisors' office or District Ranger offices (see FSM 7421.25 and FSM 7441.23). When special-use permit involves a potable water system (FSM 7422) or waterborne wastewater system, the permit case folder should contain the following: 1. Copies of all correspondence concerning the system. 2. Records of visits to the site, reviews of monitoring results, and other related inspections and reports. An optional copy of this information may be filed in 7420 and/or 7440.
