In addition to the stated requirements, State Foresters will alert the Regional FEPP Program Manager, or in his absence, the Regional Property Management Officer (PMO) by telephone or other electronic means immediately of any incident involving FEPP which results in death, injury, illness, or property damage. 21.7 - Stolen Property. In addition to the stated reporting requirements, State Foresters will alert the Regional FEPP Program Manager, or in his absence, the Regional PMO by telephone or other electronic means immediately of any negligence or abuse of the FEPP Program. 22.4 - Identification of Property. All accountable Federal property, including sensitive property items, will have a Property management Information System (PMIS/PROP) assigned control number. All property items (except expendable items such as clothing and hand tools) will be labeled with Forest Service Form FS3100-3, 3100-3a, or 3100-3b, Federal Property - Fire Use Only (ch. 50, ex. 8) or the aluminum tag with the same wording. All items not having a manufacturer's serial number permanently affixed to them shall be marked with the PMIS/PROP assigned permanent serial number, states will have the option of either marking the property item with the PMIS/PROP assigned number, or providing the Property management Officer with an inventory of property sorted by serial number and cross-referencing the PMIS/PROP number. This listing shall be provided to the Forest Service on an annual basis with the inventory reconciliation. AAll accountable property items shall retain such identification as Federal property until they are removed no more than six weeks prior to sale to the public.
