Data from the individual Fire Reports for the current calender year must be prepared, edited, and entered into the National Fire Occurrence Data base by October 30. Any changes to the data must be entered into the data base no later than January 31. 5183.1 - Annual Regional Fire Report (Report FS-5100-D). The annual Forest fire report is due in the RO Aviation and Fire Management no later than November 30. The narrative should include items 1 through 7 of the parent text applicable to the Forest, supplemented with additional information such as charts, photographs, or diagrams illustrating significant conditions, trends, developments, results obtained, and problems. Also, the Forest report should include: any new or unusual use of incident management teams, crews, smokejumpers, equipment, aircraft, or other items or developments of significance, information on numbers of trespass cases, settlement, and amount of civil and criminal dollars collected, a large fire statistical summary (fire 100 acres or larger) that includes name of fire, date started, date controlled, and acres burned, number of resource orders processed by type (aircraft, overhead, crews, equipment, and supplies) through the local dispatch office, and retardant and foam usage.
