MacWILLIAMS Forest Supervisor MBS SUPPLEMENT 2800-87-6 EFFECTIVE 6/87 2850 Page 2 of 2 TITLE 2800 - MINERALS AND GEOLOGY 2850.43 - Authorized Officers District Rangers are delegated authority to conduct sales and issue free use permits for mineral materials up to the maximum amounts indicated in 36 CFR 228, Subpart C. A break-down of the administrative costs will be included in the mineral materials appraisal reports prepared for each 2800-9 contract. These costs will be shown in a section following the mineral materials valuation. When the contractor qualifies for a fee waiver, only that portion of the fee associated with the mineral materials will be waived. The permittee will still be billed for the Forest Service administrative costs. These costs will be shown on Form 2800-9 as the fee in these cases.
